||2014 Kia Optima LX. 35,437 actual miles, Michigan salvage title.
Equipped as follows:
2.4L four cylinder engine, automatic, air, tilt & telescoping steering column, cruise. Power steering, brakes, windows, locks, and mirrors. Am FM CD blue tooth stereo/sound system. Alloy rims, fog lamps, rear defogger, and delay windshield wipers. Hands free telephone equipped, am fm cd stereo, security system, keyless entry, loaded.
Condition as follows:
This car took a hit high in the left front, over the lower main structure rail. It pretty much needs a complete left 3/4 peel off front clip. Still good are the right fender (has some light rash marks on the rear lower wheel well lip), right headlamp assembly (light livable fine scratch in the outer lens), and both fog lamp assemblies in the front bumper cover. You need to replace the radiator support, rear air cleaner box, and all of the coolers. When it hit in the left front, it drove the battery back into the fuse relay center. I replaced the battery with a brand new one, and the fuse relay center with a matching used one. They did not have the fuse cover lid, so the lid currently is cracked but useable. The battery tray needs to be replaced along with the air cleaner box. The metal bolt on brackets that hold the computer and lower air cleaner box, are twisted, and either need to be replaced or straighten. No damage to any of the complete drive line, suspension, and all of the upper and lower frame rails appear to be good as well. From the doors back, during and from transport, the car received additional damage as follows. The roof skin now probably needs to be replaced. The top rear edge of the trunk lid is also lightly damaged. The rear bumper in the middle is scraped with multiple scrape marks in it. Also the right rear quarter panel, wheel well lip is lights dented. All of this is non accident related, and as mentioned was caused by the transport company. The left front, and right rear rims, just have a couple of very minor livable nicks/scrape marks in them. The interior is super clean, just needing a drivers steering wheel air bag, along with just the drivers front seat belt being sprung. There is a very tiny livable cut/scrape mark in the passenger rear edge headliner material. The car runs perfect, and lot drives.
